An Enjoyable Book
I loved this book, a very heartwarming book to enjoy with Children. Cauline really knows how to write in such a way that when you reach the end of the book, you will wish it carried on and on. The children in my life loved this book and had lots of giggles while reading it, my little cousin really liked this book and wanted to read it again and again! You won't regret picking up this book, it's a great read for the little ones (and adults too!)
Giggles A Plenty!
I have read an Advanced Reading Copy of The Roper Twins: Bath-Time Battles with Nan. My own son is too old for this book so I read it to my 5 year old cousin and he loved it. Even though it is a children’s book I found it a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable read. Unexpectedly I found myself fondly remembering aspects of my own childhood. It was also very refreshing to see a multi-racial family represented. This is a book children can grow up with. The bright eye catching pictures and hidden shapes will hold their interest and create lots of talking points. Then as they get older they will want to read the book for themselves over and over again. I recommend this book both for adults to read aloud to children and for children to read for themselves as their reading ability develops. I rate this book with 5 stars.
LOVED THIS BOOK!
I recently read this book to my children and they loved it, such a jolly, happy and fun book to read over and over again. The twins are defiantly loveable characters along with nan! Very good book!
Fun read
This book is a great book and I really enjoyed reading it. I cant wait to see if there are more books to come from Cauline, I really hope there are! LOVED it.
Utterly Delightful
What a delightful take on toddler tantrums and bath-time. I think the story is light and funny with enough areas of interest to keep all children within the reading ages and beyond engaged. I found the illustrations vibrant and very clever in the way the additional details add the unwritten areas of the story. The author has really brought our the humour in what can actually be quite a trying time for all involved. Please note that I have read and advanced reading copy of the printed hardcover edition. The additional cool fact about twins and the colouring sheets are a unique and inspired touch! I strongly recommend this one and hope that there will be more future antics from The Roper Twins.
